When we look at the facts and numbers involved in this game and we throw public perception out of the window, we see two teams that aren’t nearly as different as you’d think. History is on Harvard’s side, too, as they have covered three straight home games against Cornell, even winning two of those three outright as underdogs. In the only game they lost, the margin was a single point.
Harvard has only dropped one home game this season – a 3-point result at the hands of Princeton – and they’ve beaten some good teams. Their best win came on the road at Boston College, and they also own a good win over William & Mary. This is a team that’s shown the ability to win on the road lately, and they should benefit from coming home to their familiar surroundings.
When the two teams met earlier this year, Cornell won by a whopping 36 points. With that first margin in their back pocket, bettors need to ask themselves why this particular game would open with such a low number. It smells of a trap, and it looks as if bettors are walking right into it.
CASH IT IN….EASY TIGER PAWSSC…boy wonder knows his hardwood….no need to explain yourself…let the man make his picks…Thanks for the play
