The Teasers was a lock, had to sweat out the ravens +1.5 but all in all a great start to the week. May have an MLB play here or there but doing our homework on Thursday nights game between Cincy and NC State. Week 2 nfl write up will be posted as well!

Baltimore Ravens +1.5

Usually not a huge fan of teasers but these spreads just fit perfect. Now lets go eat a goddam snack!  BOL

3 wins 5 losses on the week. would hope to get off to a better start but it is all about money management and learning which teams are for real right now.

As for the home dogs this weekend, 4 out of the 7 covered the spread and actually all 4 won outright. Arizona, Miami, and Green Bay were the 3 road favorites that covered.

Got off to a decent start yesterday with South Carolina and Oklahoma covering and it looked like The U was going to backdoor cover but they couldnt get Terrelle Pryor off the field. The night games started out decent as well,  but both home dogs getting 10+ points decided not to show up in the 2nd half.

Even with reverse line movement/ the line holding steady at 12.5 with 80% on WV. The Mountaineers are the play. Think they have too much speed at all positions but especially the running game. As long as Geno Smith manages the passing game, should be an easy cover for WV.

West Virginia -12.5

Unbelievable, I’ve never scene so many games hit so spot on to the point spreads to open a season. The field goal kicking for the saints was pathetic, South Carolinas and Auburns kickers looked better then Hartley the last two Thursday night games. Two college games tonight, will have 1 or 2 plays posted by this afternoon.

Crunching some numbers here.  The 2009 nfl season on sunday started with 13 games last year, of those 13 games there was 3 road favorites, or better yet 3 home dogs.(The old golden rule for nfl betting was always take the home dog and never lay more then 8 points with the home fav)

Game 1- Philly -1 they covered by 27

Game 2 – Minny -4 they covered by 10

Game 3 – Dallas -4.5 they covered by 8.5

This year week 1 sunday there are 7 road favorites, with all but 1 of them with a 60%+ consensus on the road favorite. Im still a big believer in home field advantage, and fading the public. We will have to see how this year pans out. I would not be surprised with Joe winning 4 to 5 of the 7 this year either.

The under in the south carolina game was a tough loss. Ended up with an Ea$y winner with michigan, but pushed on purdue only getting 11 where some might have gotten 11.5, but feel fortunate to push on Lsu where i got them at 6 (earlier in the day/week could have had a better number) was in vegas all weekend, back to reality and will be updating the posts more efficiently. I have always felt that week 1 of college is for suckers anyways. Joe public always wins. Along with weeks 1-3 of the NFL where all the sucker bets come in. Wil be releasing a play on tomorrow nights game.
