Its 9-7 at the half after getting all the breaks with turnovers in the red zone and the wind picking up to stall the Saints offense. 16 total points. We have under 43.5 so theres 27 points to spare in the second half. The scoring picks up a little in the 3rd quarter yet the San Fran D starts holding the Saints to FG’s and with 2 minutes to go its 22 to 14 (36 total points). Seems as if the games out of reach for the 49ers, unless they can drive the length of the field, score a TD and convert the two point conversion while beating the under by the hook. Not only do the 49ers drive the field and get the touchdown with a minute remaining, with all the under backers beginning to sweat as the 2pt conversion is snapped. The pass is complete to Vernon Davis at the goal line, and looks to have broke the plane, when the Gambling Gods shine down on the under backers and the referees spot the ball short of the Goal! As the game goes to commercial break you hear Tirico says “there is no evidence there to overturn the call.”  But of course after splicing 3 camera angles together you can see the ball clearly breaks the plane and Under goes up in flames! 0-1 to start the week and a bad nights sleep to go along with it.

New Orleans vs San Francisco under 43.5

Crazy day in the NFL yesterday 9 underdogs covering, and many of them actually won the games out right.

We have New Orleans at San Fran tonight. Saints -5 o/u 43.5. Seems like an awfully low total for a saints game.

Florida vs. Tennessee 3:30pm Saturday 9/18

So far this season the only thing that Florida has shown is that they are not the same team as years past with sloppy and very uninspired play. Going on the road for the first time this season Neyland Stadium is not where you want to be. With a 3:30 start and a chip on their shoulder after last weeks poor second half performance Tennessee will be more than fired up for this game. With 105,000 fans behind them Tennessee will look to run the ball, control the clock and the game. With this starting SEC play for the year I don’t see this one getting out of hand and think that Tennessee could win this one outright. Between the off the field drama of recent with Florida and one of the hardest stadiums to travel to take the points and the volunteers in this spot.
ALSO, Florida is 1-5 ATS in the last 6 SEC games. Tennessee is 7-3 ATS in the same role.

Pick: TENNESSEE +14.5

One TD loss on the total, will release a play for Saturday. Cincinnati’s offense was pathetic. If a few bounces went the other way the over would have hit easily.

Cincinnati NC State Over 54.5

Both teams defenses have played well to start the year, but neither have faced quality teams. Fresno put up 28 vs cincy in week 1, and if nc state can do at least that the game should easily go over the total. Both teams are coming off a short week and this gives the advantage to the offenses. Expecting  close game, and wouldn’t be surprised to see overtime which = points. As for friday night love Cal -2.5 locking that play in today to save the hook on that number.
