Cal Poly Mustangs went into the break with a 41-31 lead after shooting 41.7 percent from the floor in the first half. Cal Poly also connected on 7-of-15 attempts from behind the arc in the first 20 minutes of action.

The 49ers stormed back however, as they shot a staggering 60.0 percent from the field in the second stanza, en route to the six-point win.

LBSU shot 50.0 percent in the contest, while Cal Poly finished with a mere 37.7 percent clip from the field.
